This is one of three little paintings I did reminiscing about Sky City, one of the Acoma Pueblo villages, built high up on a mesa in New Mexico.  Something about the colorful block buildings inspired me to add even more magic to the ladders, endowing them with the power to lean on the sky, so you can climb into the clouds.
