Daily Doodle #48: Joe's Magical Jo

I doodled this one after getting off the phone with one of my oldest friends (since 4th grade) who had brilliant red hair and worked at Trader Joe's for a decade+ while making music, theater, and becoming an acupuncturist in San Francisco. He, however, has a lot more hair on top, and I've never seen him with a 'stache, or such an abundant goatee.

It's also one of my brother's birthdays today; so there's a secret homage to him in here as well.  I hope he woke up and enjoyed a tasty cup o' jo this morning with his awesome wife before hitting the slopes, which seem to be floating in his mug today -beautiful slopes, covered in powder. May it be so. Wishin' you a magical-mug-of-dreams-coming-true-jo for every day this year.  Happy Birthday, Nikolai!
